design/build/operator of the first commercial facility(s) in Puerto Rico and/or Tahiti. Johnson Controls will play an integral role in One Planet’s Puerto Rico technology parks strategy since Johnson Controls has existing clients at multiple facilities in Puerto Rico. One of the sites recommended by PRIDCO is a location in Las Piedras which includes a Johnson & Johnson plant along with those of Amgen, Schering-Plough, and Becton Dickenson. All of these facilities are managed by Johnson Controls and they (along with PRIDCO and One Planet’s other Puerto Rican partners) have close relationships with management of these facilities. Other locations
with multiple Johnson Controls clients in Puerto Rico are Juncos, Grabl,
and Manati. Johnson & Johnson is present at each of these locations
and has existing relationships with the majority of manufacturers located
in each of these “pods”. |
